Lioness Mauled by Buffalo Saved

Lioness mauled by buffalo saved by brave doctors of the Kenya Wildlife Service: a heroic fight for the life 11-year-old Siena, the weakened prey of a buffalo. The lioness was wounded just 24 hours earlier and the doctors needed to be in a hurry to do an operation on her as she just recently gave birth to three cubs. She got stitches and massive doses of antibiotics that eventually kept her alive. The Masai Mara Nature Reserve in Kenya is a dangerous place – even the hunters can become the hunted.
