Hornbach TV spot shows the state of the world today in a funny way

Hornbach is a German DIY-store chain offering home improvement and do-it-yourself goods. They have always produced smart and funny TV commercials, often working with Berlin based ad agency Heimat. The video shows people from many different nations building a house together, while blocking each other and destroying what others have started. The progress is slow and the weird structure they are building collapses. A perfect metaphor for today’s world and how the lack of cooperation will not get us anywhere. The title of the commercial is “Es gibt immer was zu tun” which means “There is always something to do”. We can not agree more.
